Your Dental Implant Practice Needs These Two Investments to Succeed

I was on a call earlier with a client today and we were talking about the two major investments that a doctor should make in order to have a successful dental implant practice. We talked about how doctors spend a lot of time and money on the clinical side of their dental practice. That’s the first huge investment – one of the most important investments you can do – you have to be good at the clinical stuff.

You Know How to Place Dental Implants, but Do You Know How to Market a Business?

How much time and money have you spent on improving the clinical side of your business? Probably hundreds of thousands of dollars in becoming a doctor and tens of thousands of dollars on continuing education – to learn how to place implants. So that comes out to a lot of TIME and a lot of MONEY, right?

But what about running a business? What about marketing your business? This is the other kind of investment – the nonclinical stuff. Your first investment doesn’t really mean anything if you don’t invest in the second side of your business.

Save Time and Money by Tracking Your ROI

This client was telling me that up to this point they’ve spent thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars on marketing. They never once tracked their ROI until recently when we started working with them and coaching them. They said they’ve probably lost thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars because they didn’t know what was working and what wasn’t.

Investments Are Supposed to Give You a Return – but Only if You Invest in the Right Things.

I encourage those who have invested a lot of time, a lot of money, and a lot of effort into your first big investment – the clinical side, to also invest on the second investment – your business, your team, your systems and processes. Invest into knowing what works and what doesn’t, invest in your marketing. All of those combined, you will see tremendous success in your business.
